Yes, you can edit the 12" version to make the promo 45 version. I haven't
done it in a long time, so I can't pinpoint the edits off the top of my head. |

I just attempted the DJ 45 edit and there appears to be the slightest mix difference that prevents the true DJ 45 version from being recreated from the 12". At about 3:27 of the DJ 45, Daryl repeats the phrase "I don't want no one else". There is an echo on the words "no one" with the second echo louder than the first. On the 12", the first echo is barely audible, with the second one practically non-existent. Aaron, would you agree? |

I'll take a listen when I get back home and let you know. It's been many
years since I created my custom edit, and I'm only human :) I may have made a mistake in saying it can be edited from the 12". |

Wow, good ears! I did not catch that when I was creating my edit years ago. Indeed, there is a unique vocal echo on the fadeout of the DJ 45. Did you notice any other differences?
