I recently came across a mono / stereo promo 45 of this at a record show in Lancaster, PA.
The mono side has a listed time of 2:39 and an actual time of 2:39.5. The stereo side has a listed time of 2:39 and an actual time of 2:39.3. Insignificant, maybe, but the stereo side fades out just slightly later than the mono side (mono side ends in the middle of the word "kind" while the stereo side has finished the whole word just as the fade out has finished). That means the stereo side must be sped up just ever so slightly. I commented in a different post regarding how some stock copies of Gitarzan by Ray Stevens contained the stereo side from the promo 45, and was wondering if anyone had ever seen a stock copy of this 45 that played in stereo since Sound Stage 7 was a division of Monument Recordsm, and if they did it for one record perhaps they did it for two? |

All 5 copies I have owned on Sound Stage 7 have been in mono. 2 of them on vinyl, 3 on styrene.
