The LP and commercial 45 version are the same. Both run 3:48.
For the LP/commercial 45 version, I like the sound quality on the 3-CD Time (1992). The sound is also good on Essential, if you don't have the Time set. The promo 45 has one edit, and is sped up by 1.3%. Here are instructions for creating the promo 45 version, based on Time: Segment 1: Extends from 0:00 to 2:10.5 of the LP and commercial 45 version Extends from 0:00 to 2:08.8 of the promo 45 version This segment ends at a downbeat at the end of a 1-beat-long drum fill. Remove the 60 beats from 2:10.5 to 3:04.5 of the LP and commercial 45 version. If you speed up the LP/commercial 45 version by 1.3% before you do the edit, remove the 60 beats starting at 2:08.8. Segment 2: Extends from 3:04.5 to 3:50.4 (end) of the LP and commercial 45 version Extends from 2:08.8 to 2:54.1 (end) of the promo 45 version After you've edited out the 60 beats and sped up by 1.3% (it doesn't matter in which order you do that), your mixdown will run 2:52, with an edit at 2:08.8.
