   I have an edit of this song on Top Hits USA RH10.  I assume it's a DJ edit from the promo CD single, since my 45 has a designation of "Album Version" and a printed time of 4:35.

Here are instructions for creating that edit, based on the album version from Ritual Of Love:

Remove the first 16 beats of the song, from 0:00.0-0:08.9.

Edit on true downbeat.

Keep the 20 beats from 0:08.9-0:19.7.

Remove the 16 beats from 0:19.7-0:28.4.

Keep 0:28.4-4:35.3 (end).

Your mixdown will have one edit around 0:10, and will run about 4:17.

The fade on the album version is longer than the fade on my Top Hits USA edit; both begin around 3:50, with the Top Hits USA fade ending around 3:59 and the fade on my homemade version ending around 4:16.

So my homemade edit is ":17 longer than DJ edit", and you can shorten the fade if you like.

	my commercial cassingle issued as warner 19088 states the version as "album version" with a listed run time of 4:35 but actually runs 4:25 and is an early fade of the full length 4:33 cd/lp version...this s/b be noted in the db... Edited by edtop40
