The version listed as 'Radio Edit' on TM Century has the edited intro
but does include 'Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby', overlapping the piano.

I remember another 45 edit that started right with the piano. Was
this another edit used on a promotional CD?

Yes, there is a promo cd that has a version without the "baby, baby..."
intro. This is the version my top 40 station used to play, and it's called
something like "Piano Intro."

Neither mix on the copy I have has the Baby Baby in the intro

1. Radio Edit (actual) 3:40
:06 intro to ooohh then vocal at :15

2. Piano Intro (actual) 3:40
:07 intro to vocal
slightly more compressed than track 1

both fade out a tiny bit different too

Interesting, mainrhythm. Their must be two promos. Cut 1 from your copy is the version I remember on-air.

Yes, cut 1 is also what we played on the air. I also remember having
to cue in a few seconds because there was blank space at the
beginning of the track. The "baby, baby..." was removed from the mix,
and the blank space is where that vocal would have been.

I have the other promo with 4 tracks, and I'll post its details shortly.

Bumping this back up for the pure purpose of finding the catalog # for the
two track promo that mainrhythm listed.

1. Radio Edit (3:40)
2. Piano Intro (3:40)

If anyone has this copy could you please provide the info. Thanks!

It was a thermal printed CD-R. Don't think there was a number.

i have a promo cd single for the song "all my life" by k-
ci & jo jo with NO catalog number issued by MCA with only
one track titled "wedding mix" and runs 5:16....the promo
cd single is a factory silver backed cd, so it's
legit......it starts with piano intro for the first 0:22
of the song.....then at the 0:22 mark he states something
inaudible.....then at the 0:30 he sings "i would never
find another lover..."....if anyone needs a copy of this
version for their review just drop me an
email.....edtop40@yahoo.com.........i also have the
commercial cd single issued as mca 55420 with a non
described version as track one with a listed run time of
5:31 but only runs 5:30.......it starts with a harp or
some string instrument for the first 0:36 of the song,
then they start singing "baby, baby, baby..." at the 0:36
mark of the song......hope this helps.....
