Even though it's not listed under the entry for LSG, there was a DJ edit for this song on a promo CD. I don't own it, but RPM Top Hits used the 'radio edit'. The run time is 3:49. Discogs lists it as EastWest Records America PRCD 988.

John, there very likely could've been a second promo CD single issued for this song, but the stock # on mine doesn't match up with what the # that you used from Discogs:

I distinctly remember another version on radio here in Providence. It was the radio version up
until end, but the artists' ad libs were removed with just the background "my body all over your body" chorus. Was another promo CD sent out? Or could have this been some in-house edit? |

The only promo CD single I have is PRCD-9916. I just placed an order for a 1-track "Remix" promo CD, but I doubt it's what you're looking for. None of the top 40 stations in my area played it.
As for the "Radio Edit" that John mentions in the first post, the Top Hits USA disc has a female vocalist singing until 3:28, and then there is one more chorus with no ad libs. It ends cold with the line "all over my body girl" and some chimes. This makes me wonder if some of those PRCD-9916 promo CDs has an actual 3:49 version. I believe I have more than one copy of this disc, and I'll check the others for a potential match to this shorter edit. Edited by aaronk |
