The commercial 45 label states a time of 2:21, but all CD appearances run 2:55-2:56. Anybody know if the label is wrong?

Paul, my good friend, my 1959 stock 45s happen to be totally unaccessible for the next week or two, due to apartment improvements by my landlord ('55-'63 stocks are all scrunched deep in a corner for right now), but according to my Whitburn book, I do have it, and the second I get the OK to move things back to their normal spot, I'll stopwatch it, and then post my findings, since no one else has stepped forward for you to date. (I claim that my ceiling's slight cracks are simply "natural settling of the structure's contents"; they've actually hinted that I just MIGHT have too many "weighty" records stored up there! Paul, what, are they crazy? There's no such thing as "having TOO many records", is there????) :)

Don't bother with this one Jim...I just answered my own question! The actual label doesn't list the time (I was going by what was in our database). I checked the actual single and it does in fact time out to 2:56. I guess the 2:21 was just a typo. Lesson: always check the actual record before posting:)
