My commercial 45, confirmed as Columbia 42887, with machine-stamped
deadwax of "RZSP-71482-1AB", has no listed time, but an actual time of
(2:15). Five of the six current db CDs (all stereo) that feature this song run
(2:19); the other runs (2:18).

jim, my vinyl 45 contains no listed run time and has
machine stamped "RZSP-71482-1B" in the run-out groove, and
runs like yours at 2:15.....if you fade the 2:19 running
version for 0:10 from 2:05 to 2:15 you can effectively re-
create the vinyl 45 version.....thanks paul for providing
the raw file for my review...THANKS!!

This is one song where the dedicated mono 45 mix trumps the stereo version on CCM's The Definitive New Christy Minstrels, IMO. Because the non-LP single had never been reissued in any form, I was really looking forward to hearing it when I bought this double-CD, but was quite disappointed with how dull this particular track sounded. No amount of futzing or EQing could make the singers sound as crisp as they did on the 45. It was the one letdown on an otherwise great set.
