Sorry to veer off-topic, but yesterday starting around 2PM CT I was having a devil of a time getting access to the site and the board (although posts continued to come in during the time I was unable to get through). Now I can get in, but I'm back to only being able to see the old version of the site (that plugs the book rather than the database).
Is anyone else having this issue? Doug |

Not necessarily. If Pat were making the database subscriber-only effective immediately, there'd still have to be a way to access the page (then you can log in). Right now, we're not getting even that. Doug |

The current database is overloading the web server so we are having to reorganize the database. This will take a while and as soon as it is ready you will be able to access it again just as before.

Since you are reorganizing the database, I would actually like to have a field added to the search page so I can search for (M) and (S) by year... (Some BSNers might like that too!) :D

Members of the Both Sides Now (BSN) stereo oldies bulletin board. They like their oldies stereo. Some of them even spend considerable amounts of time creating fake stereo from mono.

Yes Ed, there are some technical prolems that need to be resolved right now and the site will return to free access to the data base soon but the free access will be for a limited time only before I will implement an annual subscription service.
