Hey everyone,
Not sure if this has been discussed in the past (apologies
if it has) but are there certain releases that are
exclusive to iTunes?
I just noticed that the "Let's Go Mets" track from 1986 is
available on iTunes, however, when I looked for it on
Qobuz, 7digital, etc. to purchase it in lossless, they are
not listed for sale
Curious if iTunes exclusivity is something that happens
often?

Not a lot, but it does happen occasionally.
This particular track is not an iTunes exclusive, though... it's actually available on Amazon. But I don't see it for sale as a lossless track anywhere.

IIRC, it used to happen more often years ago than it does these days. There also seems to be a few Amazon exclusives
that chart once in a while, especially new Christmas songs.

It happened more frequently years ago. Not as much now.

There are quite a few songs that I can't find on any lossless sites, just on
iTunes, and sometimes just on Spotify - and I'm talking about current releases
for the most part. I don't think it's a matter of exclusivity but rather, the owner
just doesn't seem to license it to other sites like the lossless ones.
