Just wanted to memorialize something that I've noticed while researching the available versions of this song: the LP Version has been released a few times with errors, including:

  • 10 Best Series: This release includes a smidge too much intro (the opening handclap/"Do You?" on the intro should not be there) and clips the tail of the final beat
  • Greatest Hits (1995, per Qobuz): This release has a stronger low end than several other releases. Incorrectly includes about 18 seconds too much intro on
the front end, and clips the final beat.
  • And while this is just a personal preference, it seems the bass has been cut / been EQ'd to be very attuned on many releases including the 2000's era Do You remaster on One Way.

This is all to say that if you can find a copy of the original '80s-era Do You CD, there is actually a bit more tail present but it's tucked away at the beginning of the next track. It's probably not more than a second's difference to the newer masters, but getting that
extra bit of fade helps makes the ending sound not so weird and abrupt.

Just an FYI!
