Aaron:
Forgive me if I may have missed an announcement regarding this, as I have been away from the message board for much of the past week, but I notice that it now appears that the "posts" stat in our user profile has been replaced by a new "points" metric and each message board member's official count has been reset to "0". Is this reset the result of a glitch stemming from a recent website update, or were these changes intentionally made for a particular purpose? Will our actual post counts be restored in our user profiles at some point?
EDIT: Ok, I see that our total post counts are still being recorded but can only be viewed when clicking an individual member's hyperlink in the Memberlist area. So, could you tell us a little more about what this new "points" system entails?

I looked around in the admin panel last week to see if there are settings regarding points and posts, and there is nothing obvious I can see. It’s just part of Web Wiz version 12 (and possibly previous versions, too).

To clarify, there is a "points" section in the admin panel that allows me to set the number of points for four different actions, but there is not a place where I can turn off the points or change it to "posts." Here's what the point system is based on (all are the default settings):
Create New Topic: 2 points Post Reply: 1 point Post Answer/Resolution: 5 points (This is currently set to 'admin' but I can change it so that all members can mark a post as an answer/resolution.) Thanked: 5 points
