Hello,

First post here at the forum. Thank you for allowing me to join and post 👍🏻.

My question…

Regarding the album “Weighin’ Heavy” by Steel River:

Anyone have any idea what the story is on the remix of this album or who did the remix?

Thanks, John

From the website of Axe Records:

"For over 40 years, it was assumed that the original tapes were lost until a recent inventory of producer Greg Hambleton’s multi-track analog master tapes rescued them from basement storage. They were transferred to digital and re-mixed to their full sound quality."

You can e-mail Greg Hambleton (contact info on the website) and he'll respond. I exchanged a few messages with him some years ago.

"Ten Pound Note" was a #5 hit in Canada.
