It looks like Rhino/Atlantic is releasing double disc collections of classic soul artists like Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, etc. as part of their "Definitive Collection" series. I'll be hoping for lots of original mono single versions to fill out my collection.

Rhino/Atlantic is also releasing 2-CD expanded editions of the Monkees' first two albums, The Monkees and More of the Monkees on August 15th to commemorate the group's 40th anniversary. It's reported that each song on these CD sets will be presented in both mono and stereo!
