Ed, I think I recall playing the Mariah Carey song from a promo single when it was released. I don't have it, but I'm 90% sure one exists. I'm not sure about the other two.

edtop40:
Using my (fairly) reliable copy of Gregory Cooper's 1998
book "Collectible Compact Disc Price Guide 2" as a point
of reference, aaronk is correct about a U.S. promo CD
single being issued for Mariah Carey's "All I Want for
Christmas is You": Label & no. is Columbia CSK 6644, and
it was indeed released back in '94 (i.e., the first year
the song was promoted to radio). Armed w/ that info, I
did some quick additional research online, and was able
to find a picture of the actual promo CD single. It
contained just one version of the track, w/ a printed run
time of (4:01); the promo came in a standard plastic
jewel case, complete w/ a front picture insert (and the
lyrics printed inside). Apparently it's somewhat rare,
though...
Cooper also shows a commercial CD single being issued
over in the U.K. in 1994 for the Offspring's "Come Out
and Play"; however, no label or catalog no. is given
(apparently he had incomplete info at the time) - if your
import is from the U.K., it must be the one you already
have...
Sorry, but nothing listed for "Landslide" by the Smashing
Pumpkins - domestic or import - so that one may not
exist...
Although it's now out-of-print (cover price was $17.95),
I highly recommend Cooper's book for collectors like you,
as he lists all known CD singles (as of 1998), commercial
or promo, domestic or import, 5" or 3", complete w/ label
& catalog no. (when known), year released, and values
(well, as of eight years ago, anyway). The only thing he
doesn't give is the tracks/versions found on each CD,
since that understandably would've made his book even
larger than the most recent editions of Pat's. But if all
you have is some short lists from other years that you're
curious about, I don't mind looking into those as
well...

Mariah Carey-"All I Want For Christmas Is You" (CSK 6644) (Listed time 4:01) (Actual time 4:00)
Smashing Pumpkins-"Landslide" (Like Janet Jackson's, "Where Are You Now", Ed, never on a promo CD single in 1994)
The Offspring-"Come Out And Play (Keep 'Em Separated)" (Epitaph 86432) (No listed time) (Song ends abruptly at 3:13, but you can continue to hear studio breathing/movement sounds until 3:17)
Sorry for the delay, Ed. Pat's recent lack of disclosure/appreciation has greatly disappointed me. It is his prerogative. It is mine to now only read/check this Board occasionally.

Ed, I can confirm that it's just the "Merry Christmas" LP version on the single, as we played the hell out of it in 1994 and every Christmas after that. Hmmm...probably shouldn't have used hell and Christmas in the same sentence...
