All Or Nothing was never issued on a 45 as an "A" side -A remix did appear on the b-side of Girl I'm Gonna Miss You. This was the only single of their 6 commercial singles not to be issued as a 45 (the 6th single was the coupling of Megamix and Can't You Feel My Love in 1990).

And I'm quite sure that the remix on the B-side of "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You" is not the U.S. Remix. It's the remix that appears on the Milli Vanilli import "2X2."

There was a commercial 45 in Canada for "All or Nothing". A-side "The US Remix" 3:54; B-side "Dreams to Remember (Radio Remix) 4:04. Deadwax AS1-9923-A1.

Brian was kind enough to send me his copy of the US Remix, which I presume is from an import single. I just compared this to my 12" single, and it appears that there is more than one edit of this mix. His copy runs 4:03 and does not match the 3:55 version. The 4:03 version has two additional segments at the beginning, and it's also missing part of the first verse.

This is a tricky one, so bear with me. As I recall, we received in to the station both the promo CD single for "All Or Nothing" AND the terrific promo 6-track hits sampler, "Maximum Milli Vanilli/The Hits That Shook The World" (ASCD-9930) at right around the same time. Track 1 of the sampler was "All Or Nothing". This version has both a listed & actual time of (3:15). FYI, this was the ONLY version of the song that we ever played on-air as a current back in 1990. Since both promos arrived in at about the same time, we basically had a choice of which "All Or Nothing" version we thought was best (FYI, the 3:15 version does not appear on the "All Or Nothing" promo CD single). Speaking of that promo, here are its details:
-Milli Vanilli-"All Or Nothing" (ASCD-9924)
1-The U.S. Remix (listed 4:04; actual 3:56)
2-The U.S. Mega Remix (listed & actual 8:54)
3-(a different song, "Dreams To Remember" (Radio Remix))
Certainly, the "U.S. Remix" :08 listed/actual time difference isn't doing a heck of a lot to clear things up here, so I will shoot out the (3:56) U.S. Remix version appearing on this promo CD single to Aaron, and see if that'll help clear things up any.

I'm guessing just about every other station did the same thing and played the LP version. My TM library also contains the LP version, and they didn't even release the US Remix on HitDisc as an option for programmers.

GAAAAHHH! I never ends! I just don't understand why Europe would get a different edit of the "US Remix." But it happened all the time, I guess.

Did anyone every clear up the difference between the U.S. Remix released in the USA and the version they released overseas that runs 4:04. I have the overseas U.S. Remix if anyone wants to compare.

Sure. First, here are the lyrics:
ALL OR NOTHING [THE U.S. REMIX]
(Get!)
Take my music on the fab, ah, baby (Yeah)
Take my music on the fab, ah, baby (Yeah)
Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t play no games when I do my work (yeah!)
(Get!)
(Get!)
(Yeah!)
Night after night it starts the same
Talking with my baby on lover’s lane (get!)
You’re real sweet and all aglow
Turn me on and then you’re ready to go (yeah!)
I ask her, baby, can I walk you home?
She says ‘Okay, I hate to be alone’ (get!)
I’m dreaming, you’re smiling, you’re my girl
My only fantasy in this world
Nothing is wrong with being in love
It’s a wonderful feeling from heaven above (get!)
Squeeze me, please me, turn me on
I love you so much, you can never go wrong (yeah!)
I like your smile, I like your touch
All or nothing ‘cause I want you so much (get!)
I’m longing for your tender kiss
Baby, I wanna tell you this (yeah!)
All or nothing (hush!) it’s got to be (get!)
Something gotta show when you’re living under heat (yeah!)
All or nothing (hush!), girl let it be (get!)
Take it from the pro who’s rocking to the beat (yeah!)
I’m under heat, oh, baby (hush!), please, take it slow (get!)
Give me some time and maybe our love will grow
I wanna soothe you, baby (hush!) and make it right (get!)
Take it from me, babe, I wanna rock all night (yeah!)
Take my music on the fab, ah, baby (yeah!)
Take my music on the fab, ah, baby (yeah!)
Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t play no games when I do my work
Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t play no games when I do my work (yeah!)
If it’s good for me it’s good for you
You’ve gotta never let your mood get dry (get!)
Just keep it wet and my 740 jet
Is pushing right on high (yeah!)
You’re the girl of my dream and you’re making me hot
You’re looking good, too hot to trot (get!)
I wanna be with you through all the hours
And shower you with all my flowers
I like your smile, I like your touch
All or nothing ‘cause I want you so much (get!)
I’m longing for your tender kiss

The German Remix includes an additional 'All or nothing (hush!)' in the intro (completely missing from The U.S. Remix), while The German Remix removed the third paragraph from the first verse of The U.S. Remix.
The proper name of the extended version (of the single version) is "The U.S. Mega Remix". The international edition of the single completely fucked up the name of the extended mix and renamed it "The U.S. Megamix". 'Megamix' and 'Mega Remix' mean two completely different things.
Most radio stations played The U.S. Remix, and a few ones played the Album Version. The music video was simply snippets from their other four videos. Rob & Fab were too busy touring the world to produced a music video.

My local station only played the LP version - but then again, after 4 monster
hits in a row, this was only played for a couple of weeks anyway... Am I to
assume that the HIT version - played on most Top 40 stations - was the U.S.
Remix? It seems (comparably) quite radio-unfriendly. What did Shadoe's
AT40 play?

I never heard the remix on my local radio stations, and hadn’t heard it
at all until years after it was released.

This could be one of the first examples of 90s retail singles where the radio /
hit version is entirely different than what was for sale.

It is worth noting that the U.S. Remix (as it appears on All or Nothing - The U.S. Remix Album, an overseas release that included the "new" songs from their US debut album) was also the B-side to "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You" in North America, resulting in another case of a late 80s song charting in the top 5 twice. Another well-known example is Paula Abdul's "Cold Hearted", previously the B-side to "Straight Up".
