Hey all,

I just wanted to point out, particularly to Pat for the database, that the version of Straight On that appears on the original release of Greatest Hits (36888) is not an edit of the album version from Dog & Butterfly. They are two totally different mixes, and it's extremely noticeable from the very beginning. I call the Greatest Hits version the 'rock mix', because the drums sound more acoustic. Listen to the drums kick in on the Dog & Butterfly version--they have a deep bass thump, giving the mix a more 'dance' sounding rhythm track.

Can the version on Dog & Butterfly be edited to match the 4:09 DJ version?

For some time now the database has contained the comment "remixed" for the Straight On song appearance on Greatest Hits and several other cd's.

I think it's just an early fade.
