In the Whitburn Pop Annual, it indicates this song is 3:31, but the version on CDs is 4:36. Does anyone know what part(s) was edited out for the 45, or was it an early fade?

Gordon, I just pulled out my 1984 45 for you. The listed (3:31) time is correct, and the song does not fade, it ends, so there must be a edit within. I will shoot you out a dub of my 45 in the next day or two, so you can "chop" your CD version down to size!
