Don't know if this has been covered already, but my 45 of Foreigner's Dirty White Boy clocks in at 3:38, with a cold ending, same as the LP. The song listed in the DB as the 45 version actually runs 3:27 and has an edit in the intro as well as a fade at the end. My guess is that it is the radio edit, although I don't have the promo 45 to check. Anyone have more info on this? Because it looks to me as if the 45 and LP are the same.

Oops, yes I do too have the DJ-45 and yes it is the 3:13 version. And let me correct my previous post - the time is 3:12, not 3:27. So - unless someone has spotted a difference, the DB should read that the 3:38 version is the 45 & LP version and there is a 3:12 DJ version.

Robert, if you click the "search" feature at the top of the page, type in "Dirty White Boy", and search under "topic name", you'll see a previous 5-thread post on this song from last year, which may provide you with additional details.

Robert, perhaps there are two different pressings of "Dirty White Boy". Can you pass along the catalog number and matrix number etched in the vinyl of your copy and what is the stated running time on the label?

Pat, The 45 I have is #3618 (ST-A-37503 SP)
Matrix: STA-37503-2. My 3:12 promo is #3618 (ST-A-37502 SP). Matrix: STA-37503-1. Hope that helps. I guess my question now is, were there actually 2 45 pressings with those different times or is the short version the DJ vers.
