Does anyone know where I can find the Time-Life CD (Body Talk - Heart to Heart) with this song? I tried the Time-life website and it's not there. Nor is it on ebay, amazon, etc. I haven't heard this song in years and wish to hear it again.

I'm amazed that Rhino and other labels haven't put out a "Definitive Collection" on Seals & Crofts, and that the one Cd that's been out for 20 years is missing 3 of their big hits -- "Get Closer", "You're the Love" and "My Fair Share". When so many labels re-hash Greatest Hits CDs over and over again, I'm flabbergasted that no one's rehashed Seals & Crofts and included all these later top 40 hits on a compilation.

The entire album, Takin' It Easy, is supposed to be released by Wounded Bird Records in September of 2007. The rest of the album is much different from the pseudo-disco hit. There is also a dj promo with 80's style artwork, which is an extended version - but you can't get it on cd or digital download. From what I can hear, they just looped the chorus over and over anyway. See my fan-based website, sealsandcrofts.com.

I understand that Rhino is finally issuing a S&C greatest hits CD later this month. I do not know what the track lineup will be.

You missed it in my other post, but the track lineup will be the exact same as the greatest hits album that has been on cd for 20 years and on lp for 32 years. They're not including the 3 later top 30 hits they had after the release of the original lp.

sealsncroftsguy, do you happen to know the actual run time of the DJ 45 version of "You're the Love"? If so, would you mind relaying it on to us so that Pat Downey can incorporate the info into the subscriber database?

Don't have the DJ 45 version. But I have the extended "Disco Mix" 33 1/3 promo. Don't have the actual running time, but the stated time is 5:29. You can see my scan of it at http://www.sealsandcrofts.com/sealscrofts4.html

Todd, the mono and stereo sides of my DJ 45 both have a listed and actual time of (3:17).

Thanks for the info, gentlemen! So the extended version is essentially a DJ-only 12" promo then? Does anyone recall hearing this longer "Disco Mix" on the radio?

I've been following these guys many years, but never knew about the "Disco Mix" until a few years ago. I never heard it on the radio and it's pretty hard to find. Jim and Dash themselves don't recall it.
