According to Wikipedia, the flip side of "Who Loves You" is "Who Loves You (disco version)". Has this ever appeared on CD? I see the database has a few remixes - some with "additional production" and some with "completely new production". Are either of these the "disco version" on the B-side of the 45? To me, the song was already very disco, so I'm curious to hear this (I imagine it might be on YouTube but I haven't checked yet), and I'm hoping it's on a CD somewhere.

I have never seen it on a CD release. I still have my original 45 with that longer version on the b-side. Like you said it is on that site:

I love the b side version. If I remember
correctly, it even edited out a verse
found on the hit.

Still haven't seen the B Side on a CD. But you can edit a super long version of the song by inserting the extra long instrumental section from the b side/disco
version into the album version. That gives you the longest unedited version of the song that you could have.
Although you have to watch the pitch differences. Timings and pitch are slightly different depending on what copy you have. Jim's timing of 4:09 is correct, if
you have a copy with the run off number of TCA-5482S-IG. But that one runs faster and has less clipping than TCA-5482S-1D, which almost gets you to 4:11, as it
is .5% slower. B sides have the same speed and clipping difference too.
And like the A side, the B side is timed incorrectly. Claims to be 5:28, but it's 5:39 or 5:40, depending if you have TCA-5483S-IG or TCA-5483S-1C.

I really wish they'd put the disco remix B-side on CD.

I'd even settle for a digital download off the master
tape.

I know this post began with Jim's timing info, however I've found no less than
3 YouTube posts of the song, and all run in the neighbourhood of 4:04.

I wonder why they didn't include the single remix/fade of
"December 1963" nor the single remix/edit of "Silver Star"?

I am not aware of a unique 45 mix for "Who Loves You". "December, 1963",
yes.

In the U.S. the 45 of "Who Loves You" was an early fade of
the LP version; I believe it was the same mix.
The 45 of "December 1963" was a remix and early fade of the
LP version.
The 45 of "Silver Star" was a remix, edit and early fade of
the LP version.

I have the 3:46 Silver Star remix on the Jersey Beat
collection. So, it must be available.

Hi, John
Yes, thankfully it is available on that 'Jersey Beat'
collection.
I was just implying it would have made a nice "bonus
track" on that CD for completeness' sake.

<Disc 24 of the new Snapper box set due out next month

That's great news. But after recently buying their "Classic Albums Box set"
which lists for $100 and contains 18 CDs, I just checked for this new Snapper
44-CD box and it's listing for a pre-order price of $546! I don't think I want to
spend that for 1 (or a few) songs. :(

I just looked at the item I discussed above on Amazon and noticed it said
this near the bottom:
Manufacturer : Madfish Records Imp
Original Release Date : 2023
Date First Available : July 18, 2022
If its release date is 2023, how can it first be available 7/18/22 (unless that
was a 44-LP version of the box set)?
The link is here:
https://www.amazon.com/Working-Our-Way-Back-
You/dp/B0B6WMZS5Y/ref=sr_1_5?
crid=WIY8MLXBJEUM&keywords=four+seasons+box+cd&qid=167856942 0
&sprefix=four+seasons+box+cd%2Caps%2C144&sr=8-5
Also, the label isn't indicated as Snapper, so I don't know if we're talking
about 2 different boxed sets coming out, but I doubt it.

The July 2022 date was the date that Amazon first posted
the box set on their site. The original planned release
date was Dec. 2022, then that was changed to April 2023.
Amazon simply never changed the first available date.
Snapper is based in London and has various labels (Madfish
is one of their labels). Kind of like Cherry Red that uses
various labels for their releases.
