Pat, just for the record, both stereo sides of my promo 45 have a listed time of (3:35) and an actual time of (3:23). The (3:35) time is one second longer than your commercial 45 notation, while the (3:23) time is one second shorter than your current notation.

Even though it was never mentioned on the label, memory tells me that Kim Carnes did the backing vocal on this track.

Yes, she certainly did, eriejwg. Joel Whitburn notes Carnes' backing vocal credit in his Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits publications.
