all of whitburns top 40 books claim that this 45 was
released with a picture sleeve, but i've never been able to locate one.....can anyone confirm that they've seen a usa commercial released 45 as fever 1914 WITH a picture sleeve.... ------------- edtop40 |

Hi,
Does anyone know if the 45 version of Because of You has ever made it to cd in it's original form? As a side note, I have the 12" promo and the run time of 3:55 is incorrect. The version we played at my station ran 4:12 and was carted directly from the 12" promo. Any info would be appreciated. |

I did a Discogs search, and I didn't see any CD's with a 4:12 run time listed for the song, so it appears it's not available. ------------- Dan In Philly |

The song is titled "Because Of You". It looks like Ed had a typo in the original post. |

Bumping this back up for anyone interested. I did
discover that the 45 version of Cover Girls - Because of You did make it to cd version. It is on a Japanese release from 1988. Label: Victor – VDPS-1001. It's the "B" side to the CD single for Show Me. ------------- Rick |

Thanks for that information Rick. There's a separate thread about the Single Version of "Show Me" here as well, so I
checked Discogs and the version on the CD Single is called "The Nest Mix" running well over 7 minutes, so that's obviously not the 45 version. But the version of "Because Of You" does seem to be the correct 45 version, at least by the listed run time. ------------- Dan In Philly |

The 4:12 radio version was exactly the same than this one:
