Lord Have Mercy, EdTop40's gone "current" on us: All kidding aside, my friend, here's what we got in for it in 2003:

Christina Aguilera-"Fighter" (RCA 82876 50959-2)
1-Fighter (listed 4:03; actual 4:06)
2-Suggested Callout Hook (listed :10; actual :20)

There may have been other promo CD singles put out for this song, though, Ed. By this time, I wasn't NEARLY as conscientious in collecting/keeping track of whatever promo CD singles we got in, but I did happen to have this one promo CD single for it.

The only single format in which this song was commercially released in the U.S. of which I'm aware was on a 7-inch single, RCA 82876-50960-7. ("Beautiful" and "Fighter" appeared back-to-back on the same 45.) This version has a different intro than the LP version. The first note on the LP version has what appears to be piano, bass, and drums. The 45 has only the piano.

Just listened to the version of this song on Napster from Totally Hits 2003 and it has only the piano as an intro. No drums or bass.
