my commercial 45 issued as warner 27773 states on the label "edit" version with a listed time of 3:45 but actually runs 3:48 and is identical to the version from mine and jim's promo cd single listed above....

Yes, you can make the 45 edit from the LP. I did it
several years ago just for my mp3 library. Sadly, I don't remember where any of the edits are, but I'd gladly send you my mp3! MM |

Thanks to Mark, I can share the edit points!
...o.k., just one edit: Take out 3:21 to 4:16, on the word "...I..." of "I love / the way you love me..." Then, with what is left, chop off 3:49 to the end of the file, leaving "...and I..." but not the word "...love..." Fade to taste starting about 3:38 near the word "...love..." giving about an 11 second fade. This was done using the LP version from iTunes, but your results should be similar with the CD.
