The database says that all DJ copies of this song are 3:21 but commercial copies of this song are 3:56. My commercial CD copy (Atlantic 87072) only has the radio edit (3:21). I don't remember seeing this single in any other format, aside from maxi-CD and 12". What format is the 3:56?

My 2-track promo CD single has both the Radio Edit and Album Version. I used to have the commercial CD single in the clumsy cardboard case with plastic slide out tray; however, I got rid of it after obtaining the promo. Doesn't that version have 2-tracks, including a b-side? I honestly can't remember if mine had the "Radio Edit" or "Album Version" as track 1, but it must have been the former since you have it in front of you, Eric.

Yes - I have the same stock single with the clumsy sleeve and the B-side. I picked up the maxi at some point, so I wonder why I still have this one -- but for everyone's info, the track listing is:

1 - Radio Edit (3:21)
2 - Simone (Album Version) (4:26)

Nice catch, Eric! It appears the database will need to be updated with your new info.

Actually, it was me who reported in another thread that commercial copies of "I Love You Always Forever" run 3:56. That's because I have the song on cassette single, which states "Album Version" on the sleeve, and is indeed identical to the version on Lewis' Now in a Minute CD. Evidently, I wasn't aware that commercial CD single copies feature the "Radio Edit".

Yes, those clumsy cardboard sleeves were dreadful and cheap-looking, weren't they?

By the way, I timed my cassette single and have determined that it actually runs 3:57, just like on the parent CD/LP Now in a Minute.
