the commercial 45 issued as columbia 02805 states a run time of 3:33, but actually runs 3:35....this should be noted in the db.....

At Jim's suggestion I believe, I have adapted the policy of not mentioning running time deviations unless they are 3 seconds or greater from the stated time.

Pat, there is one recent policy you've implemented of late that I do find EXTREMELY helpful, however. When there is a "database CD time range" of :05 seconds or more, for the same version of the same song, I have found it to be VERY helpful when you've added the brief comment, "the actual 45 time is (X:XX)". That way, I can make my "go to CD version" the one that runs closest to the 45's actual timing. Anybody else agree or disagree?

Excellent suggestion. It has been very helpful to know the actual run time when CD times range by several seconds.

Given that I so frequently post requests for actual 45 run times in such cases where a song's time ranges :05 or more on CD, it should come as no shock that I'm 110% in agreement with this policy for the very reason Jim describes. :-)
I immensely appreciate all the things Pat and everybody else on this board does to help make our hobby easier!
