my commercial cassingle issued as sbk 50426 states a run time on the cassingles sleeve of 4:41 but actually runs 4:39 and is identical to the 4:39 version from the full length cd "great expectations"...

My stock 45 on the EMI-Capitol "For Jukeboxes Only!" series runs 4:37. I suspect that two seconds of fade were cut off (it's a long, long fade-out).

My promo CD single (DPRO-04683) contains the following:
1-CHR Edit (listed 3:34; actual 3:35)
2-A/C Version (listed 4:42; actual 4:39)
3-Alternative Rock Version (listed 4:43; actual 4:42)
4-Full CHR Mix (listed & actual 4:43)
Since none of these claim to be the "LP Version", I believe there is a good chance that the version found on Ed's cassingle is not included on any of the above 4 tracks. Unless, of course, cut 2, 3 or 4 is actually the LP version, under an "alias".

Thanks to my good friend Ed, I've been able to obtain a copy of Tasmin Archer's "Sleeping Satellite" from her Great Expectations CD, which Ed has reported is identical to the cassette single. I compared the single/album version to each track on my copy of the promo CD single Jim listed above and have confirmed that the "CHR Mix" and "Alternative Rock Version" are both different mixes, while the "CHR Edit" is just that... an edit of the "CHR Mix".
However, I did discover that the "A/C Version" is an exact replica the single/album version. I could detect no differences between them whatsoever. So subscribers might find it useful to have the database acknowledge the "A/C Version" is the same as the single/album version.
