| There is an edit of Icky Thump on the new cd "2008 Grammy Nominees" that runs (3:45) but I cannot determine if this was a dj edit or not as I do not have the promo cd single. Can anyone confirm where this edit comes from? |

Pat, we have the CD promo single on Third Man/Warner Bros. 102022. There are two tracks: 1. Edit (3:45) 2. Album Version (4:14). |

On the surface, it looks like you have answered my question Paul but the version on the "2008 Grsmmy Nominees" cd is NOT an early fade of the cd version it is an edit! Are you sure your promo cd single is an early fade of the cd version? ------------- Top 40 Music On Compact Disc Moderator |

You're right Pat. I was going by memory, so gave both versions another listen this morning and it is indeed an edit as labeled. |
