I've always loved this song, and do already have Rhino's 1994 Lulu collection, "From Crayons to Perfume: The Best of...", which is the only CD to be released in the U.S. to date that includes it. However, I've also owned the song's 1981 parent album, "Lulu", on cassette for years, and happen to like the whole thing, including its other U.S. hit, "If I Were You" (NOT included on "From Crayons to Perfume"!)...

Does anyone here know if the original 1981 Alfa album has ever been re-issued on CD??? I know it's never been released on CD here in the U.S., but perhaps as an import??? I can't seem to find any evidence that it has, but I'm holding out hope. :-) abagon, has it ever come out in Japan, by chance??? Thanks in advance...

Hi, 80smusicfreak: I love the American 80's songs very much.

There are not the "LULU" self-titled CD and "If I Were you" track. As I searched Japanese web site. I've not ever seen it (Selftitled CD) at many used stores in Japan since middle eighties. "ALFA record" was the sole Japanese record label charted in "Top 40". Around 1980, "ALFA" succeeded in a hit label because of Japanese artist in Japan only, and acquired the A&M distribution for Japan. Unfortunately "ALFA" experienced bankruptcy and acquisition by another company. Now "SONY" has the copyright of "ALFA".
