My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as Motown 1103, has a listed time of (2:35), but an actual time of (2:44).

Pat notes in the database "all stereo versions of this song feature a splicing glitch at 1:25." I'm listening to my stereo copy on "AM Gold 1967," and I don't hear a glitch. Perhaps I've discovered an exception, or more likely, I'm missing it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I just pulled out my AM Gold 1967 cd and yes I hear the glitch on my copy which occurs around 1:23.5 on that cd.

What this glitch actually sounds like is when the recording was originally completed, somebody decided to re-do Diana's spoken parts. I speculate that they changed it on the multi track by erasing the original spoken parts, but didn't hit the erase button quite right leaving parts of the original spoken words in. On the stereo versions you hear those little bits where on the mono version it sounds like they just cut the bits out completely on the final mix down tape..
