Is the single length just an early fade of the LP length?

Yes Gene. It's an early fade. All I have on CD is the longer LP length. I never bought this 45. Perhaps someone else can identify when the fade starts on the single.

My recreation of the fade runs for 24 beats from 3:37 to 3:50. I suppose you could shorten it to 3:47 to strictly match the 45 length.
