Abagon, our resident Top 40 expert from Japan, has astutely pointed out that the LP version of Mick Jagger's "Let's Work" contains the sound of giggling females during the first :01 of the song. The commercial 45 does not have the females at the beginning. Therefore, the database should be updated to revise the comment on the Primitive Cool CD (Atlantic 82554) from "LP length" to "LP version".

I don't have the Mick Jagger Very Best of CD on Atlantic/Rhino 74640, but can anyone confirm if the opening :01 of the track contains the female giggling?

Todd, I have that CD and "Let's Work" does have the brief giggling.

Thanks, Paul. It looks like Pat has already updated the database accordingly!

I thought I'd also add that the actual commercial 45 time is 4:00. (Abagon relayed the timing info on to me. The printed record label time is 3:58.) This should probably be noted in the database as well.

Thank you very much for the post instead of me, Todd.

I don't have a copy of this song at all so was wondering if the giggling can be removed from the intro and then faded early to create the 45 version.

Thanks

The database says the Very Best Of CD on Rhino has a (3:44) version of this song, but that must be a typo because on my copy it is a minute longer.
