Looking back over the past year of posts, there have been TONS of new, valuable discoveries for 45/LP distinctions. My hat is off to edtop40, the team of abagon & Todd Ireland, and jimct. All of those guys have done an outstanding job (which I'm sure was painstaking) of listing version differences and run times on dozens and dozens of songs.
An honorable metion goes to everyone else on the board who has made at least one contribution in the last year. Every post gets us closer to making the database error-free!

I am always amazed at the amount of musical knowledge that is shared on the chat board. Thanks to everyone who participates and shares his/her knowledge. I hope that at least occasionally I am able to provide some minor tidbit that might be of interest.
Also, Brian's post reminded me of that great line from "Caddyshack" where Chevy Chase (Ty) says to Ted Knight (Judge Smails): "Don't sell yourself short, Judge. You're a terrific slouch."

I can't believe how much information that I have acquired in the short time that I've known about this site.
Its great to know that there are some of us who still care about music.
People who know me think I know a lot.
I'm always humbled by the info that I find here day after day.
Keep up the great work one and all!

Ed: Thank you for the gracious compliment!
I've been around the radio business (1974-1997) and the DJ business (since the late 70's or so) and I readily admit I have leaned alot about version/mixes/lengths since joining this site in 2007.
A tip of the musical hat (or note) to everyone in this community!

Thanks, Aaron, for nominating me for your award. Honestly though, so many of my message board contributions are the result of teamwork with other tremendous board members who've help provide me with so much valuable information, including yourself. So right back at cha!
(Speaking of Aaron... He informs me he's presently at the hospital with his wife, Kellie, as she is expected to deliver their first newborn baby at any moment now! My prayers and best wishes go out to them.)

Thank you very much for choosing our team, I'm so happy with your post, aaronk.
I was lonely when I joined the message board member last spring. Jimct and Todd invited me by e-mail last summer. And even now I'm here. I can enjoy listening to music thanks to Top 40 Music On Compact Disc!
I was late to notice this thread, because I was getting wrong the meaning of the word "poster". I was misunderstanding as a picture "poster" for CD promotion.
