The actual commercial 45 run time of People's Choice's "Do It Any Way You Wanna" is 3:16. (Thanks once again to Jim for the timing information. The printed record label time is 3:15.) I only post this because database CD appearances of this song generally run 3:11-3:16.

I noticed two issues w/ this song in the on-line database:

First, there is a U.S. CD that features "Do it Any Way You Wanna" that is currently NOT listed. It's the group's Golden Classics collection, which was released on Collectables 5818 in 1996. The CD is actually a re-package of the song's original parent album, 1975's Boogie Down U.S.A., w/ three bonus tracks: The A- & B-sides of the group's first single for the TSOP label in 1974, as well as the non-album B-side of their second single for TSOP (the A-side of which DID make the original album). Fortunately, the CD is still very much in print today. Page on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Golden-Classics-Peoples-Choice/dp/B00000092W/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1424645862&sr=1-1&keywords=people%27s+choice - PEOPLE'S CHOICE - "Golden Classics" (U.S. CD) This is significant because to date, Golden Classics is the ONLY U.S. CD from the group itself to ever feature the song - the other 24 CDs shown in the db are all V/A compilations...

Second, the following CD needs an additional descriptor:

(S)      (5:34)      Epic/Legacy 85940 Philadelphia Classics (this song never appeared on the vinyl LP titled ”Philadelphia Classics” issued in 1977)

All other db entries run (3:08)-(3:16), which is the 45/LP version. It appears that over the years, the (5:34) version on the above CD has technically become known as the 12" version; however, there was no 12" single issued in the Summer of '75, as the format itself was just being introduced at the time. Therefore, I believe "(remix)" would likely be the most appropriate here...
