Anyobdy know if the 45 of this (didn't hit either mag's top-40 in 1977, I think it peaked at 58 in BILLBOARD) is an edit or an early fade of the LP version? I saw a UK 45 on eBay that listed at roughly (4:47) [couldn't read it clearly]--the LP version runs (5:52).

Doug, it's both an edit and an early fade (I recall the second verse was excised).

Does anyone know if the single version of this came out on CD, either domestic or import? As it peaked below #40, it's not in the database, so it could even be domestic. If only the album version is out on CD, can anyone explain how to edit it to the single version? Thanks.
