does anyone know if there was ever a promo cd single issued with a shorter version than the 4:50 album version?

For what it's worth, my station always played the 4:50 album version.

My promo CD single of that song got "thinned out" of my collection a few years ago (I have the song elsewhere), but I only recall it having the 4:50 version on it.

I just checked the TM database and everything they

Thanks for checking, John. I don't think any of the configurations of the single on Discogs have any edits, either.
