my commercial 45 of the rod stewart song "lost in you" issued as warner 27927 states the version as "fade" with a listed run time of 4:20 but actually runs 4:22 and NOT 4:25 as stated in the db.....this should be amended...

Ed, back on Nov 1, 2007 JimCT reported the correct time as (4:25) so why don't you two determine if there might be two different pressings of this 45.

Pat, for as long as I can remember, Ed and my timing reports have at times differed, by between :01 and :03 seconds. For this particular report from '07, both my 45 and promo CD "single edit version" timings were both exactly (4:25). I know Ed and I both take much pride in submitting 100% accurate timings to the Board. But in truth, the one person I have been somewhat unsuccessful in matching up timings with at times has my good friend EdTop40. For my part, all I can do is to make sure my both my turntable and timing devices are continually as accurate as humanly possible.
