My commercial 45 (confirmed as Herald 590, with deadwax of "H-1570", followed by "triangle 52933") has a listed time of (2:08), but an actual time of (2:04). FYI, all of the many current database CDs that feature the original recording of this song have run times ranging from (2:01) to (2:03).

my 45 has, what sounds like an extremely loud cymbal
thrashing throughout the song which the mono cdr version
of the song i have, doesn't contain....my vinyl 45 is
really beat up, so it's possible what i'm hearing is the
vinyl groove distortion.....does anyone else's 45 have
this cymbal thrashing throughout, or is my vinyl 45
playing tricks on me?

jim was kind enough to point me to you tube to confirm
what i'm hearing on my 45....but...it's not cymbals
thrashing but the snare drum on the intro.....the snare on
the vinyl 45 has a very high treble sound, and the one on
the cdr version i have has heavy bass....if someone else
can confirm what i'm hearing, i'd really appreciate
it...sound like a different intro, almost
