my commercial cd single for the boyz II men song "i will get there" issued as dreamworks 59018 states the below tracks
1-build up mix (4:17)
2-lp version (4:20)
3-a cappella with strings (4:18)
4-instrumental (4:20)
this cd single info s/b added to the db...

Ed, am I correct in assuming the timing info in your post is based on the listed times? I clocked the tracks on my "I Will Get There" commercial single copy and came up with the following actual run times:
1) Build Up Mix - 4:16
2) LP Version - 4:21
3) A Capella with Strings - 4:17
4) Instrumental - 4:21
I don't remember this song getting much airplay in my area. I'm pretty sure the "Build Up Mix" is considered the true single version, though it's certainly possible the album version and "A Capella with Strings" may have gotten some national airplay as well.
I also have a shorter version of "I Will Get There" on my Promo Only Mainstream Radio subscription CD series. It runs 3:59 and appears to be just an edit of the "Build Up Mix". If anyone has a promo CD single containing this radio edit and/or any other relevant tracks, please feel free to pass it along.
