I noticed in the database, this song has a comment regarding a guitar
overdub not found on the 45 or LP. I couldn't find a thread on this in the
chat, so here it is. Please, where is this overdub?

David, the guitar overdub is very apparent at the song's beginning. Compare the intros on these two YouTube clips:
