my commercial cd single for the brian mcknight song "hold
me" issued as motown 860885 contains the below tracks
1-trackmasters remix edit (featuring tone) (3:40 listed;
3:41 actual)
2-trackmasters remix edit (featuring tone & kobe bryant)
(4:00 listed; 4:00 actual)
3-live version (3:52 listed; 3:59 actual)
question is, which track got most airplay back in 1999,
track one with just tone or track 2 with kobe bryant as
well.....jim, do you have a promo on this one??

Ed, forgive me for apparently overlooking your initial request. I do have
two different promo CD singles for it. FYI, we never did play the song at
our Top 40 station back in 1999. It likely only got as high as it did on the
BB chart, like other tracks did at this time, due primarily to high sales and
Urban-formatted station airplay. Only the second promo CD single noted
below has *any* mention of Kobe Bryant on it at all. Here are the
