although not released as a commercial single the red hot chili peppers song "my friends" did make the top 40 airplay charts peaking at number 27 in late 1995 and i have the promo cd single issed as warner pro-cd-7807 which contains just one track as listed below

1-album version (4:04 listed; 4:03 actual)

is there any reason why this song isn't in the db......i'm sure if it was the 27th bigger airplay song at one time it must have qualified to make some other top 40 charts.....anyone??

Ed, that song only hit #46 on the R&R airplay chart...that's why it's not included.
