Found a DJ copy and compared the mono and stereo side. The stereo side sounds as if a good deal of reverb was added to the entire song in comparison to the mono, probably to set a better stereo stage. The mono side has only slight reverb on the vocal but not on the instrumentation. I assume that the stereo single is the same as the LP version. My suggestion is that the database should note: Mono DJ copies contain less reverb than the stereo version" I don't have a copy of the KTEL Biker Rock CD, can anyone check to hear if that CD contains the mono mix DJ or is a sum of the stereo version?
Also the mono side runs slightly slower, but it still comes inside the 2:04 length range as does the stereo version.

There's another thread Jim started a while back regarding Sailcat's "Motorcycle Mama"... In case anyone's wondering, Jim reports his commercial 45 copy is in stereo. So it appears the mono mix is exclusive to the DJ 45.

The K-Tel Biker Rock mono cd appearance of "Motorcycle Mama" is not a fold down of the stereo version so it must be the dj 45 version.
