my commercial cassingle for the soup dragons song "divine thing" issued as big life 865764 contains the 7" edit listed as 3:35 but actually runs 3:34.....this cassingle run time info s/b added to the db.....

The album version of this fades a bit later than the single, and i discovered it has a cold end (like Bruce's "Glory Days") where you can just hear it after a long fade.
So i un-did the fade out then edited a nice 3:40 version with the cold end. :-) (i can never let a cold-end go to waste!)

Curious tho Ed, are there any actual edits in the body of the song vs. the album version?

no, i think it's really just a fade and not a true edit...

i also have the promo cd single for the song issued as big life/mercury cdp 663 which contains the below tracks.

1-7" edit (3:35 listed; 3:34 actual)
2-album version (3:51 listed; 3:51 actual)
3-revisted edit (3:52 listed; 3:58 actual)
4-definition of (5:33 listed; 5:33 actual)

this info s/b added to the db as well...
