Would love to know this too. I had long thought the 45 was an edit, not a fade (I'd swear I heard on the radio a version that strips out some of the break and the "ooh, you got me understanding" line sung by the backup singers). my commercial 45 issued as capitol 5413 states the run time as 3:42 and does indeed run that length and is just an early fade of the 3:51 ost version from "teachers".... ------------- edtop40 |
