Thanks to the help of a couple board members (you know who you are), I am able to report the full details on the Saturday Night Fever "Special Disco Version" promo 12". Here are the particulars:

RSO PRO 033
Side A:
1. Bee Gees "Stayin' Alive" (listed 6:55; actual 6:51)
2. Bee Gees "Night Fever" (listed 4:50; actual 4:45)
Side B:
1. Bee Gees "More Than A Woman" (listed 4:43; actual 4:37)
2. Yvonne Elliman "If I Can't Have You" (listed 4:00; actual 3:57)
3. Bee Gees "You Should Be Dancing" (listed 4:47; actual 4:44)

Stayin' Alive
This extended version is a unique mix with an added instrumental horn section. It can be found on the reissued CD of "Greatest."

Night Fever
This version can be created by editing the 45/LP version. It repeats the second verse and end choruses, requiring about a half dozen edits to make.

More Than A Woman
This is a unique mix that has some missing overdubs and a vocal echo on some of the choruses. It also repeats the first verse and a couple choruses to extend the song. To my knowledge, it has never been issued on CD.

If I Can't Have You
This can also be created using the 45/LP version; however, it has been issued on several compilation CDs. There is an off-beat edit at 2:15.

You Should Be Dancing
This extended version can be found on the Tales From The Brothers Gibb box set.

So is the extended version of "stayin' alive" an extra track or is there
just the one version on "greatest?"

The expanded edition of "Greatest" actually has three
different versions of "Stayin' Alive" including the
extended version as Aaron states above.
