Here's another one for the class. Again, for a personal project, I want to come up with the 45 version of "I Am Love." I noticed that the full LP version is noted as Part 1 and Part 2, and that the 45s I've seen on E-Bay have Part 1 on one side and Part 2 on the other.

Was Part 1 the hit side, and how long exactly does it run (and for the matter, is it just an early fade of the full version)? The labels seem to indicate a time shorter than what I'm thinking (if Part 2 does actually run (2:57) as indicated in the database).

Sounds obvious, but thought I'd better double check. Thanks.

I have a commercial 45 wherein the A-side is an edited version of
the LP version that times out to 5:30, while the B-side is Part 2 of
the A-side, and times out to 2:55 (though the label says the time is
2:26). The inner ring writing on the A-side is M-1810-62222 - 11A
- RE1 - 5- 08A. Also, on the B-side, they have a longer playout than
the A-side.

Thanks, Paul. Ed sent me a dub of the A-side, which I tried to replicate (and other than the fade, which I never get anyway, I made a pretty passable edit).

Wasn't Part 2 the hit side? Or did both sides chart? It's
Part 2 that I heard played on a recent playback of AT40.

Thank you so much, Santi Paradoa.   It's kind of weird that when I searched to see if there was already a thread on the topic, it didn't show up. Anyway, I appreciate your help.
