In the database, there are currently 45/LP version comments listed next to each CD entry containing Faith Hill's "Let Me Let Go". However, if I'm not mistaken, the song was never issued as a commercial single release, so therefore there is no official "45 version".

Now, based on my research, there was a promo CD single release for "Let Me Let Go" on Warner Bros. PRO-CD-9642-R with the following tracks and printed run times:

1) Pop Remix - 4:22
2) David Foster Version - 4:08

Does anyone have a copy of the promo CD single who can pass along the actual run times?

I suspect Track 2 is what appears on the lone database CD currently with a "45 version" comment.

I have 2 promo singles for this one.

Warner 9401 (Bugs Bunny on the front and back covers):
1. Single Edit - listed (4:05), actual (4:04)
2. Album Version - listed (4:25), actual (4:23)

Warner 9642:
1. Pop Remix - listed & actual (4:22)
2. David Foster Version - listed (4:08) - actual (4:06)

Thanks, Paul. I wonder what the difference is between the "Single Edit" and the "David Foster Version"? (Knowing Foster's production style, perhaps some added strings or orchestra arrangement on the latter version?) And does anyone know which version is on the Message in a Bottle CD soundtrack (143 Records/Atlantic 83163) which runs 4:06?

Hopefully, I can answer your question about the 'single
edit.' I have it on a Top Hits USA CD. Remove the first :18
seconds from the album version and you have the single
edit.

The "David Foster Version" has some extra instrumentation not found on the "Single Edit".
