The DB states all entries as LP length, but doesn't
indicate an early fade which would be problematic with this
song. So I ask, is it a fade in issue, as web searching
seems to say a time or 3:48 - 3:51.

My commercial CD single (Caffeine 156247) features two version of "It Feels
So Good":
1. 7" Breakbeat - listed (3:49), actual (3:48)
2. 12" Breakbeat - listed & actual (6:02)

The 7" Breakbeat version does in fact appear to be just an early fade of the
full LP version (assuming that's what is on the compilation Universal Smash
Hits).
